Resources that have helped me stay connected to myself!
Breath work- using your breath to connect with yourself is such a powerful tool and always accessible to you. We breathe without thinking and when you put your intention around your breath amazing things happen. You suddenly feel more connected, grounded and spacious. You may feel less stress from the moment or clear headed for the next moment.
Body Movement- during the day move your body. If you find yourself sitting at a desk or driving a lot. Make sure you intentionally wiggle, move, shake your body out. If you are not able to take a walk outside for a break even if only 5 minutes….shake it out while getting some water or walking to the restroom. It’s so important to get up and move and possibly try to do it every hour. Set a timer and move…in the long run it will give you more energy!
Set your intention for the day- One of my daily intentions is to live in easy world where everything is Easy- this comes from Julia Rogers Hamrick. When I don’t set this intention, something shifts and difficult world shows up. Or if things become difficult once I’ve set my intention I go back to easy world and it’s as simple as saying I live in easy world where everything is easy and taking a deep breath to reconnect with myself.
A great thing to do is to keep track of your actions. Set a goal for the week. Note your mood and track it, with the intention of noticing the difference it makes in your life. When you have positive results you’ll be more likely to stick with it.
We are our best resource. Tap in, tune in and turn yourself on!
